More details: This smaller collection of icons, Public Icons, is focused on interface icons that are "bold" or "filled". You'll notice that they differ quite a bit from line-based icons, in that in almost all cases, the inner-part of the icon is filled. This is ideal for smaller interfaces (e.g. mobile or watch apps) since filled icons are often easier for users to perceive / grasp.
